Before you call
Questions that come up every week
What does the $95 service call include?
The visit and the full diagnosis: readings taken, fault identified and a repair quoted as one figure for parts and labour. If you approve the repair, the $95 comes off that figure.
Do you work on appliances other than refrigeration?
No. Columns, over-under cabinets, undercounter drawers, ice machines and wine storage are the whole book. It is the reason the diagnosis is quick.
My kitchen is up three flights with a turn in the stair. Is that a problem?
It is a planning question rather than a problem. Tell us the stair, the door width and the floor the kitchen is on when you call, and the slot and the crew are picked to match. Doors and hinges come off the appliance before anything is moved.
Can you tell me over the phone whether it is worth repairing?
Often, roughly. The model and serial from the plate inside the fresh-food door, the age of the cabinet and a clear description of the fault are usually enough to say whether it is a small repair, a large one, or a conversation about replacement.
How do I book?
Call (781) 675-1098 — the line is answered 24/7 — or pick a slot yourself on the booking page. There is no form on this site and no email queue to sit in.

February cold snap and the back addition unit ran nonstop. The door seal had worn flat along the top. New seal and it settled inside a day.

Compressor never shut off in our parlour floor kitchen. Turned out the door was not sealing at the bottom hinge after years of being tugged open. New gasket and a hinge adjustment fixed the constant running.

The fan behind the rear panel buzzed for a week and then went silent. He said the motor bearing had seized, had one on the van, and cleaned up all the frost he had to chip out to reach it.
