About
One trade, worked properly
This is a refrigeration repair business working the city and the inner suburbs. One category of appliance, one brand of cabinet at the centre of it, and a van stocked for that instead of for everything.
Boston sets the terms. Kitchens are below grade or up a stair, buildings have loading windows, and a column that fits the cabinetry does not necessarily fit the door it has to come through. Planning the access is not an add-on to the repair here — it is most of the visit, and it is why the call starts with questions about the building rather than the appliance.
What we will not do is guess in front of you. Readings first, then a number, then the work. If the number is bad news, you hear it before anything is taken apart rather than after.
The short version
What this business will and will not say
-
Refrigeration only
Built-in columns, over-under cabinets, undercounter drawers, ice machines and wine storage. No ranges, no dishwashers, no laundry — one category, worked properly.
-
Access is half of a Boston call
Garden-level kitchens, four-flight walk-ups, doors narrower than the cabinet. Panels and doors come off before anything is moved, and the stair is measured before the van is loaded.
-
One number before anything opens
The $95 service call covers the visit and the full diagnosis. Parts and labour are quoted as a single figure after that, and the fee comes off it once you approve the work.
-
Factory-approved parts
Gaskets, fans, boards, valves and driers are ordered against the model and serial on the plate rather than fitted from a generic box.
There is no claim on this site about a founding year, a number of jobs closed or a percentage fixed on the first visit, because none of those has a record behind it that you could check. What there is: a phone answered 24/7, a flat $95 service call, and a quote before the work rather than after it.
Booking
Ready when you are
Model and serial from the plate inside the door, what changed and when. That is usually enough for a straight answer about whether it needs a visit — and the $95 service call covers the visit and the full diagnosis when it does.
